A weekend in Fresno

I woke up only halfway ready to greet the world this Monday morning. This past weekend was full of work and play and not a lot of sleep. Friday we shot a wedding in Pasadena, the couple was amazing and they partied with all their friends and family until 1am!! Luckily we only partied with them until 11pm but with the drive home and organizing equipment I finally got into bed at 1am. Only to be pleasantly greeted by my alarm at 5:45am. I quickly packed and met up with a friend where we carpooled up to Fresno (4 hours North) so that we could celebrate our good friend Bernadette with a bridal shower and surprise bachelorette party. Her shower was Breakfast at Tiffany's themed, so Bernadette! We played all the usual games, ate great food, sipped champagne while we opened gifts and afterwards we blindfolded her where a limo was waiting in the driveway to take us out. First stop: wine tasting (but I went with a Moscow Mule, so refreshing in warm Fresno). We also ordered these over the top cheese plates. I'm pretty sure cheese plates are my love language. Second stop: Dinner and well…more drinks. Back in the limo and well…more drinks. We finally got back to Bernadette's house where we all crashed and watched Bridesmaids. Perfect ending to a great day!

The next morning I woke up and went for a run. At 8am it was already 80 degrees so I basically died and then we all made breakfast together and finished the rest of Bridesmaids. Then said our goodbyes and made the trip back home! It was a super fun weekend and now there are just 3 weeks until Berna's wedding, wooohoo.
