5th married Christmas AND….surprise revealed!!

Hard to believe that this was our 5th married Christmas together, where has the time gone?! But for real, it feels like last week we were engaged. We spent the holiday in San Diego as always, it was less busy than past years which is totally fine by us! Making our rounds gets really exhausting, we've been known to visit 5 separate places in ONE day! Madness. This year Paul and I just exchanged stockings and man, Paul way outdid himself! We went out the same day to shop separately for each other and I snapped a photo of a Marc Jacobs wallet I spotted at Nordstrom Rack and texted it to him along with, "…this would fit in my stocking??" I was totally kidding but he actually went and got it! I was shocked. Some other stocking stuffers included, an Anthro candle, Anthro coffee mug, Madewell necklace, bath salts, Nektar + Corner bakery gift cards and Victoria secret underwear. He totally killed it.

Funny story about the underwear, it's kind of become a Christmas tradition for us and for a really embarrassing reason…I never buy new underwear for myself, it's just something I never think to buy and next thing I know they are hanging on by a thread (and I mean that literally). If it weren't for my Christmas underwear from Paul each year who knows what would happen, haha.

Well, Christmas was great and all but honestly we're anxiously awaiting the New Year. A couple months ago I announced that we had rather big news. The only preface I gave was that I wasn't pregnant (check back in 2018, maybe we'll have news regarding that) and it wasn't business related. So what could it be? Well other than moving to Manhattan; which isn't happening (yet?) but would be just about the most exciting thing ever...this is even better. WE'RE GETTING A PUPPY!!! Guys, after 3 years it's finally happening! Two years of getting Paul on board, a year of searching for a dog friendly place and this little guy is coming to join our family in a couple weeks (the lighter one with the blaze).

 Everyone, meet Arthur the Corgi!
