Home and pup update.

Last week we were buried in tax info (one downfall of self employment) in preparation for an appointment with our CPA last Friday. We wanted to file ASAP this year so that we could get a head start on getting our 2013 tax return! We'll need 2012's and 2013's to get an accurate idea on what we can get pre-approved for. Luckily my mom is in real estate and has been helping us out a ton! I seriously would be so lost without her guidance. She has a rough idea of what we'll end up pre-arroved for and has ordered me to begin looking at condos/single family homes in our price range. It hasn't been so fun just yet... Orange County is so dang expensive, it's hard to get excited about any of the properties that we can afford.

Old and charming I have no problem with, I would love me a fixer upper! It's just hard to come to terms with the fact that we will most likely have to move away from Costa Mesa, which we love. Paul has kept me optimist with his positive outlook and continues to remind me that this wont be our "forever home." He has been a great help when I'm feeling overwhelmed or just frustrated in general. Currently with all the house hunting and many things up in the air, we've sort of put getting a dog on the back burner. The breeder has a couple litters due in the next week or so but we've talked about it and both agree that if it comes down to it we may push our puppy plans back to the next round of litters. We would love to be settled in our new home beforehand :) Till then, we are still having fun pet sitting our friends dog Kean when they are away.
