2014 resolutions

I'm a big fan of New Years resolutions. I know many people find them so cliche and a waste of time but I see them in a different light! It's a time to start fresh and set goals for yourself! So with that here are mine!

1. Use my Vitamix more - last year we watched the documentary Fat, Sick, and Nearly dead. We became inspired, bought a ton of produce and went on a juice fast. All while spending a small fortune on a Vitamix that is now hardly being used. It's time to get healthy and make that Vitamix worth every penny we spent on it!

2. De-clutter our home - It's seriously mind blowing to me how much "stuff" can be accumulated by just 2 people. Some stuff I want to donate and others I want to put in storage to keep out place clean and organized. My plan is to do this in our moving process!

3. Spend more time with my husband - Yes we live and work together but a lot of the time we aren't really present in each other's company. I'm on the computer, Paul's watching TV or playing a video game or two. I want to be more adamant about really enjoying each other and including more adventures in our daily life.

4. Getaway more - Go camping, enjoy day trips, do a road trip, be spontaneous! I often forget that we live in a pretty incredible state. I've lived in California my entire life but want to experience so much more of it with little getaways, nothing glamorous!

Those are the main things that I want to accomplish in 2014. Sure there are other little things here and there…lose a couple pounds, continue running, complete more DIYprojects, etc but there are the goals I've set for myself this year! Oh and on another note watch 618 Studios first 2014 wedding film below!
