There's a lot I could update on but I'm wanting to keep it short and sweet. Life has been a little crazy this month with 2 destination weddings on the calendar and other things here and there. In the past 2 weeks we have slept at our apartment twice and have gotten used to living out of a suitcase (embracing wrinkly clothes).

We decided to stay down in Valley Center (our hometown) to spend time with family. If there is one thing that I learned this week it's that encouraging friends and family are a special blessing. To all who we received phone calls, text messages, tweets, and Facebook messages from we are truly grateful for your thoughts and prayers. We thank you abundantly!
Nothing like a beautiful beach day with the family...
Yesterday we made our way back home and quickly packed for our trip to Chicago where we will be spending the weekend and shooting a wedding. I mentioned to Paul this morning that our neighbors must think we have the weirdest lives by the amount of suitcases they see us hauling to/from our place each weekend ;-)
