What I've been up to..

With the excitement of graduation coming up, I contemplated if I should send out graduation announcements to my friends and family..first it was yes, then it was no, now i'm back to yes. Due to my love for stationary, I practically jump on any occasion I can to bring invitations, cards, fancy stationary, you name it into the mix. If I could send out cards for flag day, I would. There is something so timeless about receiving/sending a hand written or mailed invitation that an "Evite" (emailed invitation) can never replace. Call me old school, whatevs. So I began shopping for graduation announcements on all my favorite stationary websites, they all were gorgeous and I seriously contemplated a couple, but I couldn't get myself to spend $200 just on grad announcements + the cost of postage (neither could our bank account). So I decided to get my mind in crafty mode and think of another alternative. I remembered that a couple of the wedding blogs we advertise on sometimes offer free template downloads, brilliant!! So, this is what I have been working on lately :) (CLICK on the picture to see it larger)..

It's a Postcard!!!

Now all I need is some thick 4x6 card stock + some stamps and we're good to go!!
