Wedding weekend.

Wedding weekends go a little something like this...

Friday: Go, go, go. Pick up rentals, clean lenses, pack up, check off check list, check off check list again, and again.

Saturday: Go, go, go. Shoot, shoot, shoot. Dance in the corner at the reception when we're not shooting. Home, unload cards, bath while cards are unloading.

pre-ceremony. St. Regis hotel.
dancing bride + beautiful Vera gown. Gorg.

Sunday: Wake up like a zombie with a wedding hangover.

Cali, I so love you.

Enjoy a day date with a trip to the deli and an afternoon stroll.

Film from all this craziness coming soon!

Work it.

After close to a year with no workout routine, I was at my wits end with making excuses for myself as to why I hadn't started working out again. Typically, in the past I would become suddenly inspired to go for a run only to feel frustrated with myself after needing to stop after 1 mile. Back when I ran consistently, running a mile was a warm up! *sigh,* The pity party would continue and back on the couch I went.

SundayMonday

I finally came across a workout routine via Pinterest that is the perfect balance of beginner and intermediate for where I'm at. So far I'm a week and a half in and going strong! If you are looking for something to get you motivated, this guy could do the trick!

For you in-shape peeps, try doubling the workout for a more advanced approach. I'm hoping to get there in the next couple weeks!

Paul / health update.

A few weeks ago I posted a prayer request regarding Paul's health and for him to find a wonderful new doctor. Thankfully the Lord has answered our prayers! A couple weeks ago Paul went in for a first time visit with a new doctor here in Orange County. This process of finding a new doctor was all new to us but luckily we had heard great things about this particular doctor and decided we'd check him out. Paul also expressed some recent irregular symptoms he had been having over the past 6 months. A blood sample was taken and we received a call back that his blood results were normal. PTL! The only thing was that his Glucose levels were a little high. Too much soda and energy drinks! I'm so overjoyed his blood tests came back ok. The doctors still aren't completely sure on what it could be but hopefully we will know at his next checkup. In the meantime prayers for Paul would mean the world to us!

love this guy.

happy Sunday.

The weather this week in So. Cali has been too good to be true! We even took advantage of it and went paddle boarding for the first time in the Dana Point harbor. Man, gotta get me some of those! This week we are house sitting in Capo beach for some friends and continuing to soak up this wonderful sun. Also, wanted to share some more images from the shoot we modeled for on Thursday.

Surprises in store.

Husband hasn't let out a single peep, hint, giveaway, nothin' about our Valentines plans. And by plans I'm talking about what red box movie to rent and if we should make spaghetti or lasagna. We like to keep it low key. Well, tonight I just so happened to stumble across something in Paul's phone that leads me to believe 3 things::

1. He knows I like to snoop. (hence why he labelled them "Surprise 1 & 2")
2. I better buy a new dress.
3. After 6 years, He's still got it.

New logo and a doppleganger.

Feb is moving right along, it seems as though we are getting busier by the day especially with our new logo finally here!!

time to design business cards, packaging, and all sorts of goodies for our 2012ers. We are so lucky to have a new intern to help us out with such a big project. Here's to a fresh start!

Also, thought I would share something kind of funny. A fb friend recently posted this on my wall. Looks like I have a doppleganger?

Me vs. Kristen Bell (actress + the voice of Gossip Girl).
Yes, no, maybe so? I think our chins could be twins.

hello Feb.

The month of love. Or, as I've heard as an alternative name, singles awareness month..thanks to a little day on the 14th. As a single lady, turned girl friend, turned fiancé, turned wife I've never been that into Valentines day at any point. Even if I were I'd trade red roses for peonies and a fancy dinner for a home cooked meal. Chocolates on the other hand, chocolates can stay.

This weekend we ventured home to San Diego for a short visit and to gain 5 pounds in super bowl snacks. The nutshell of our weekend home.

prior to the 5 pounds of super bowl snacks we visited our two
favorite places to grab some grub in SD.
We worked and played.
Paul's mini me.

Like I said above, we played but also found some time to fit some work in! Max and Leigha are two very dear friends of ours. Max was the only person I knew when I came to Vanguard University my sophomore year. And to say that I knew him is to say that he was a friend of a friend.  It just so happened that his future wife would live on the same floor as me. The rest is history.

Listen to their journey!
